Asante Kotoko coach, Michael Osei says his side was determined to pick the maximum points against Liberty Professionals on Saturday.
The Porcupine Warriors secured a 2-0 win over Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindolf Park on match day 24 of the Ghana Premier League.
Youngster Dauda Mohammed opened the scoring in the 40th minute before defender Eric Donkor scored in the 70th minute to snatch all three points at stake.
Osei indicated that his side was tactically superior on the afternoon as they dominated the game from the start to end.
‘’I think we were determined to win the game. the players were determined as well as the technical team,’’ he told the press after the victory.
‘’You could see that we really came to win all three points because we dominated every department of the game from the blast of the whistle, so it was determination.’’
Kotoko remain at the 4th position with 39 points and they will lock horns with Aduana Stars in their next Premier League game.
