Medeama SC defender, Samuel Adade says he is confident the Mauves and Yellows can qualify to the semi final stage of the CAF Confederation Cup, after defeating TP Mazembe on Sunday.
Medeama secured a dramatic late win over group leaders TP Mezembe to move them to 2ndposition on the table with 8 points.
The Tarkwa-based side travel to play 3rd placed Algerian side MO Bejaia, needing a draw to qualify to the semi finals.
But the Algerians know beating Medeama would put them through instead.
All is at stake and have their destiny in their own hands in this game. However, Samuel Adade has no doubt Medeama will qualify.
“We are very much impressed in what we saw at the stadium. Though it wasn’t an easy game, we fought and got the victory,” Adade said after the game.
“I’m very confident. I can assure all Medeama and Ghanaians fans that we will pick a point in Algeria.”
Medeama will take on their Algerian counterpart on the 22nd of August.
