All Stars captain, Hafiz Adams says he is hoping that his side wins the league before they trek to battle relegation-bound Hasaacas in Sekondi.
Emmanuel Ocran’s hat-trick against Dreams FC inched the Northerners closer to historic Ghana Premier League title triumph this season, with three matces to end the 2015/16 season.
They currently lead the league table with 48 points, three more than Aduana Stars who are second on the table.
All Stars will lock horns with Aduana Stars in Wa on match day 29, and Hafiz is hoping that by the time they play Hasaacas in their last game, his team would be crowned champions.
According to him, all the players are working towards winning their first ever title.
‘’We have all been preparing to win the ultimate, that’s the Premier League because winning it will be the club’s first major trophy as well as the players too, so everybody is working hard towards it because with three matches to go the best for us is to work hard,’’ he told Herosportsgh.com.
‘’We’ll prepare hard for our next game against Liberty in Accra before hosting Aduana Stars in our own backyard, before we move to Hasaacas for our last game.
‘’But before we’ll be moving to Hasaacas, I hope and pray that by the time we finish playing Aduana Stars, possibly we would be crowned champions by then. So we’re working towards it.’’
All Stars will travel to play relegation threatened Liberty Professionals when the league resumes next week.
