Aduana Stars star striker Yahaya Mohammed says league leaders All Stars have the greatest chance of winning the Ghana Premier League.
All Stars are currently leading the league log with 48 points, with three games to spare, and they are closely followed by 2010 Premier League Champions Aduana Stars, who are on 45 points.
Going into last weekend’s games, All Stars were leading the table with just a point but widened the gap following a 3-1 win over Dreams FC, whilst Aduana dropped points far away in Sogakope after holding WAFA to a 1-1 stalemate.
However, the former Asante Kotoko talisman is hoping to clinch the ultimate despite tipping All Stars for it.
He reiterated that he is still working hard to win the top scorers award at the end of the season.Yahaya Mohammed leading the table on 14 goals closely followed by Liberty’s Latif Blessing who has scored 13 after 27 games.
‘’We have the chance to win the league but for now Wa All Stars have a very big chance to win the league, but we are looking at the last matches to see who is who,’’ he told TV3 Network.
‘’I still have the chance to win the goal king which is one of my target coming into this season’s league, so I’m still on course to win it. We have three matches more to go and I are working hard to win the goal king.’’
Aduana Stars face Ashanti Gold, All Stars and Inter Allies in their last three games, whilst All Stars will take on Liberty, Aduana and Hasaacas.
