The Sports Minister Nii Lante Vanderpuye ordered the FA to invite only local-based players for the tie because the Ministry is cash strapped.
But the football governing body has defied the orders of the minister and this has created a heavy row between the two bodies.
As a result, the foreign players who had call ups had to pay their own airfares and the minister has also hinted that his outfit is not capable of paying any winning bonus if the team secures a win over the Amavubi’s on Saturday.
Many sports pundits believes that the misunderstanding between the two sectors could affect the output of the Black Stars in their game against Rwanda but Wakaso has allayed such fears.
“We are not worried at all as you can see from our training. We are well concentrated for the game ahead of us and so that is the most important thing for us now.” He told the press.
The Black Stars had their first training session on Tuesday.
