Former Ghana midfielder, Emmanuel Frimpong has heaped praises on Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan on his swift move to United Arab Emirates giants Al Ahli from Chinese side Shanghai SIPG.

The former Sunderland attacker has returned to a place where he flourished in his career during his stint with Al Ain.
Gyan netted 128 goals in 123 appearances and guided the side to win three Premier League titles.
Gyan also emerged top scorer on two occasions whiles with Al Ain.
And the former Arsenal enforcer is hoping that his former captain succeed at his new club.
He tweeted that he hopes Gyan goes through the season without any injury.
Congrats to One of Africa’s greatest
@ASAMOAH_GYAN3 On your move we pray for an injury free and successful season
It would be recalled that Gyan has failed to prove himself with his Chinese-based club Shanghai SIPG due to recurring injuries.
Gyan is part of the Black Stars team preparing for their final African Cup Of Nations qualifier on Saturday.
