Ghana-born Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah will undergo a Crystal Palace medical today.
The 19-year-old is set for a loan move, according to a report by the UK’s Guardian newspaper.
New Palace manager Frank de Boer has been searching for additions to his defensive ranks and has acted to provide cover for regular right-back Joel Ward by agreeing a move for Fosu-Mensah who began his career under the Dutchman at Ajax.
He made eight appearances under José Mourinho last season having made his debut for Louis Van Gaal in February 2016 and can also play in central defence and midfield.
Born in the Netherlands to Ghanaian parents, Fosu-Mensah is still eligible to play for Ghana.
