Ghana captain Isaac Twum has been adjudged as the best player of the just ended 2017 WAFU tournament.
The Inter Allies enforcer received the award after helping Maxwell Konadu’s charges to lift the trophy on Sunday evening.
Ghana thrashed Nigeria 4-1 in the last game of the tournament in Cape Coast.
Twum’s influence on the pitch was immense, which propelled his side to make amends in the final having lost to Nigeria in the group stage.
Herosportsgh.com sources indicate the Twum’s impressive output have caught the attention of some European clubs and, he could leave Ghana in January.
