Gambia sets up Equatorial Guinea friendly at next International Window

The Gambia will be facing off with Equatorial Guinea in an international friendly match in Spain on November 14th.

A media release from the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) says: “the match will be played on Tuesday, 14th November , 2017 at the Marbella Football Centre stadium, a southern resort city in Spain’s Costa Del Sol, part of the Andalusia region, with kick off billed at 17:00GMT.”

The scorpions, inactive in October’s international window, will use next month’s friendly with the Nzalang Nacional (National Thunder) to prepare for their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations home qualifier match against Algeria in March 2018.

The Gambia lie 164 on the FIFA world rankings while Equatorial Guinea, whose star player is former Middlebrough and Birmingham City forward Emilio Nsue, lie 135.
