Aduana Stars coach Yussif Abubakar has penciled down West Africa Football Academy youngster Gideon Waja as his chief target next season, Herosportsgh.com has been hinted.
The Dormaa-based club are on the verge of confirming their place to next year’s CAF Champions league competition as they are an inch away from winning this season’s Ghana Premier League.
Report reaching our outfit has it that Aduana Stars are vociferously working around the clock to beef up their squad with some talented stars and are very much certain that the enterprising midfielder will be a perfect addition to their ranks as they look forward to announce their presence in the Africa inter-club elite competition next season.
It has emerged that the well-disciplined tactician is losing sleep on the 20-year-old nimble footed midfielder as he fears that he could miss out his signature to an European outfit following his quest to lure him by his side next term.
However the talented Black Stars enforcer has remained one of the sought-after players in the domestic top-flight – with Ghana’s two heavyweight clubs , Kotoko and Hearts of Oak all chasing for his signature in recent times – after bursting onto the local scene so far with the Academy lads.
Gideon Waja was an integral member of the Black Stars B squad that annexd the trophy of the just ended Wafu Cup of Nations tournament hosted by Ghana.
