Tema Youth head coach, Edward Odoom has mentioned that he would not be disappointed if his side fails to beat the drop when the ongoing 2016/17 Ghana Premier League campaign comes to a close.
The Tema-based outfit has been poor in the campaign since no joining the topflight
Odoom’s charges are languishing at 14th position with just two games to end the season.
He pointed at referees as being the cause of the death of local football.
“I’m confident that Tema Youth will survive relegation but if the unexpected happens I will not be disappointed at all”, he opined on Silver FM.
“The referees have been poor this season. They are major reason why we are at our current position.
“Again, some of the clubs have started playing fixed games. I understand the Liberty-Berekum Chelsea game was not honoured in a good spirit. There was something fishy”‘
The league continues coming weekend with match day 29 fixtures.
