Asante Kotoko lateral defender Amos Frimpong has confirmed that two Nigerian top-flight sides Eyimba FC and other club are on his heels as they are eager to secure his services next season.
The dependable left-wing back has been a pillar at the defence set-up of the Porcupine Warriors for over three seasons now and his stupendous performance has left the two clubs with no other options than to engage in a bidding war for his signature having scouted on him for several months.
The 25-year-old has stated that he has ordered the two elite division clubs from the West African neighbours to contact his representatives in order to have a showdown talks over any possible move to their respective outfits with regards to their pursuits over his services in the near future.
“Yes, it is very true that Eyimba FC have contacted me for my services and l have told them to talk to my representatives,” the Black Stars B guardsman stated.
He added: ” lt is not only Eyimmba FC who are after my signature, but there are other club from Nigeria too who have also shown interest in me. But because l cannot do things myself, l have referred them to my agent and my club as it has to deal with a transfer in my playing career.”
Herosportsgh.com can confirm that Amos Frimpong will have his current deal with Kotoko expired this season and could easily swap camp with his current Nigerian suitors.
