Ghana’s Black Starlets will be facing Niger in the round of 16 at the ongoing FIFA U17 World Cup in India.
The Black Starlets set-up an epic tie with their West African counterparts after topping group A having rolled over hosts India in a 4-0 hammering on Thursday. Ghana beat off competition from the USA and Colombia.
Niger on the other hand, finished third in Group C. However, they qualified as one of the third best placed teams in the competition.
The two sides will lock horns at the DY Patil Stadium Wednesday at Mumbai in a repeat of the semi-finals of the Africa U17 Championship.Ghana defeated Niger on penalties 4-2 on penalties at the Cup of Nations.
