Ghana and Sassuolo midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan has expressed his satisfaction over his side’s 0-0 stalemate against Chievo Verona in the Italian Serie A campaign last Sunday.
The 24-year-old was left impressed over their performance in the second half of the encounter and has urged his team-mates to stay resolute in their subsequent fixtures with this same performance if they want to make great impact in the ongoing league season.
” I think we need a performance like that of the second half in order to start from here to keep ourselves going in the league ,” the Black Stars tireless midfield workhorse told TuttoSassuolocalcio.com
He added: ”it is important for us, we must start from the good things we have done today and the results will come in. No goal was recorded in the game but we have to score too with this maximum performances in our games.”
Alfred Duncan is currently being courted by his former club Inter Milan.
