Herosportsgh.com understand that the last fixtures of the Ghana Premier League slated for coming Sunday are likely to be postponed following agitations from the clubs.
The request has become necessary due to the inability of the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee to rule on a protest lodged against Hearts Of Oak by Great Olympics few weeks ago.
The Wonder Club filed a protest against the Phobians for failing to pay an amount to the GFA after they were fined. According to Olympics officials, Hearts did not pay the amount within the stipulated duration they were suppose to before playing them.
And, looking at the league table, if the decision goes the way of Olympics, there will be changes in the standings of the clubs. Currently, Tema Youth, Great Olympics and Bolga All Stars are occupying the 14th, 15th and 16th positions respectively. The outcome will also see Hearts Of Oak drop from the third position.
As a results, the clubs have joined heads to present a letter to the GFA on Thursfay requesting for the postponement of the Week 30 GPL matches scheduled for Sunday.
