Asante Kotoko midfield skimmer, Isaac Quansah, this morning had a feel of the turf at Adako Jachie after months lay off with a knee injury. The player who sparkled during the G6 tournament had a lot of hype hovering around his head and loads of expectations, but with Managerial hands swinging to and fro, and injuries winking at his doors , the player failed to blossom.
Quansah returned to Adako Jachie with a broad smile as he was taken through body workout and walk and run by the club’s physical trainer, coach Ike.
The player in a chit chats with Kotoko Portal described how the feeling was and what he aims at achieving after his recovery.
“It’s never easy to be injured as a player. especially when things hasn’t been favourable to the entire team and me as an individual, but am feeling better and am still on the rehab and praying to God that, the recovery continues successfully so I can recover fully. “
The player when asked what he wants to do for the club, stressed that, he can’t predict what lies ahead but wants to be at his maximum best for the club.
“The future lies in the hands of God so I can’t predict anything but it feels good to be back and we can just hope for the best next season.”
Quansah was substituted in the MTN FA Cup quater final where he sustained the injury.
