The young rising Ghanaian attacker Richard Zumah who has had a remarkable season for his club Emmanuel City FC in the Ghana Division Two league season with scoring incredibly many goals has been attracting interest from both local and foreign clubs.
With a growing interest from local clubs like Accra Lions FC, Inter Allies FC and a host of others wanting to snap up the prolific scorer onto their folds, clubs abroad has expressed keen interest with Nigeria Professional Football League newly promoted club Kwara United FC leading the chase for the youngster as they have made an official request for the player to join the team up for further assessment in the coming days.
The State Owned club by the Kwara State Government had just been promoted to the top flight league in Nigeria as they look set to build a formidable team in their campaign for next season’s NPFL. The club is will play their home games at the Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin.
Zumah, who turned 20 in July is set to arrive at the Kwara based club’s facility to undergo his assessment which is to last for two weeks, as the club looks to wrap up preparations prior to the start of the Nigeria Professional Football League next month.
When successful he will join the growing list of Ghanaian footballers that are making waves with the likes of Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda (Enyimba FC), Douglas Nkrumah, Eric Darko (Ifeanyi Ubah) among the list of many.
