Accra Lions FC poised to qualify to Division One – Technical Director

Greater Accra Division Two Zone 4 league champions Accra Lions FC, after gaining automatic qualification into the Gr. Accra Middle League with an unbeaten record of surpassing all the teams in their zone.

The Legon based club are rigorously in preparation at the Presec School Park, where the technical team are putting all measures in place to the players ready for the much awaited contest as it stands as quest to qualify to the GNBANK Division One is made a reality.

Speaking to Herosportsgh.com the Technical Director of Accra Lions FC Bruno Ferry on being asked on how his team is preparing for the middle league and his take on the strength of the other teams who Accra Lions will be facing in their quest for promotion into the GNBANK Division One League.

“We’re geared up for the contest, as the players and technical team working a lot to achieve this course and also continue the progress from where we left off.”- he said

“All three other teams are a very good side, which makes it a much difficult contest for all teams but football is for 90 minutes and after the final game of the middle league we will know which team qualified.”- he added

The middle league which is scheduled to kick start on the 2nd day of December, 2017 at the Tema Sports Stadium and end on the 6th day of December, 2017.

The Battle for Qualification to the GNBANK Division One league will be contested by 4 teams who made it through to the next phase after topping their respective zones including Accra Lions FC are R. Starke FC, Emmanuel FC and Photizo Accra Future Pro.

The team which will accumulate most points after completing all fixtures will automatically qualify to Division One and join the Zone 3 bandwagon for next season.
