Godfred Manner, the highly talented West Prime Platinum FC Central Defensive Midfielder, is on the verge of landing a dream move to top Serbian club, Red Star Belgrade.
Observers of Ghana Football have indicated that it is not a common occurrence for a 2nd Division player to get the opportunity to trial with a top European club and Manner has been lauded for his achievement.
Before his departure, the player has been full of praise for the Management of West Prime Platinum FC, as well as his Coaches and playing colleagues. He attributed his meteoric progression to the quality of his colleague players, the encouragement from his Technical handlers and the business-like approach of the club’s Management.
The youngster is very hopeful of making the grade at Red Star Belgrade, and thus paving the way for more of his colleagues to also get the opportunity to make dream moves to the big European leagues.
On his part, Founder and Chairman of West Prime Platinum FC, Mr. Chukwuka Nathan, expressed the hope that Godfred Manner would make the club proud by passing the trial and going on to become a key player of Red Star.
