We looked at teams pairing as the draw for the preliminary rounds of the CAF Inter-Clubs was made last week during a meeting of the CAF Inter-Clubs Committee, held at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt .

Fifty-nine (59) clubs entered the Champions league fray while Fifty-four for the Confederations Cup 2018 competitions

Elsewhere, we heard from Gambian Coach Tapha Manneh, who now looks to the future for a CAF Champions League breakthrough, three months after conquering the Liberian domestic football League with LISCR FC .

Meanwhile Gambia’s League champions and FF Cup winners have been drawn against Zambian and Nigerian sides in the first round of the 2018 CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup qualifiers .

Ghana stands the risk of losing the hosting rights of the 13th edition of the Women’s Africa cup of nations .

Also, in a special feature this week; we hear from female footballers are hoping to break new grounds, with a cup of nations dream very much on top of their 2018 agenda .

Plus, a FIFA Female football ambassador, tell us how she intends to develop a formula to change the phase of women’s football development in the Gambia .
