Head of communication team for Dreams F.C. Henry Asante Twum says the club is more than ready to face free scoring side Medeama S.C. in the second semifinals of the GHALCA Top 8 tournament on Thursday at the Cape Coast stadium.
Speaking in an interview with ATL FM Sports, Mr. Asante said, they have been ready for the tournament since GHALCA wrote to them to participate in it. “We accepted the challenge and have been ready. We started our preseason way back November to get the players ready”, he said.
We have a lot of respect for Medeama because they were not part of the tournament but they accepted to participate after WAFA pulled out and they have distinguished themselves among the group B. Also to him, he thinks Medeama have quality and young players in the team and they have similar style to that of Dreams F.C.
Asked about his impression of the tournament, Mr. Asante said it has been a productive and amazing tournament. The tournament has given the management of the club to assess the players they have bought and even their old players who did not have enough time in the Division 1.
