Day 3 of the zonal women championship saw Anlo Ladies and Dreamz Ladies recording their first 3 points.
The Ashanti lads, Dreamz, after dropping points in just a game, demolished Future Queens 5-1 at the Wesco Park on Monday.
The huge win keeps them at 4th on the table with 3 points, 3 behind Supreme Ladies who stood bye.
Meanwhile, 2nd and 3rd place, Savannah ladies and Candy Soccer Academy shared spoils 1-1 to also maintain their positions on the log.
Supreme Ladies will bounce back to play Candy Soccer Academy for match day 4 on Tuesday, January 23, while Savannah Ladies host Dreamz Ladies, same day.
In the Southern zone, Volta champions Anlo Ladies managed a 2-1 win over Haasport on day 3. The girls had to fight hard for the win after losing 2 matches on the streak.
Other matches played on Monday, saw Valued Girls going goalless against Combined Forces with Army ladies also playing a 1-1 draw against Halifax Ladies.
The positions in the table remains the same in the zone, but leaders Halifax have 7 points. Combined Forces follows with 5 points, while Haasport and Army Ladies occupy 3rd and 4th with 4 points each.
Valued Girls languish at the bottom with a point, and Anlo Ladies place 5th, with 3 points.
Day 4 will have Haasport playing first match against Valued Girls, with Army ladies away to Anlo Ladies for match 2.
Combined Forces will host Halifax for the last match yet at the Robert Mensah Stadium.
With these results, the race to who gets promotion to the next edition of the National Women’s League is tight.
