The long-awaited appointment of the new technical team that will lead the Ghana U20 national team, Black Satellites of Ghana have been officially announced on the Ghana Football Association website. After much recent deliberations of who would be given the mandate to take charge of the Ghana U20 national team.
The new technical team of the Black Satellites will be headed by former Wa All Stars, Inter Allies, Maranatha FC of Togo experienced coach Jimmy Corbblah, as he will be assisted by Nuru Ahmed. As they have been tasked to lead the Ghana U20 team to the big stage and through to the U20 world cup.
The new Ghana U20 Head coach Jimmy Corbblah has had an illustrious career with clubs in the Ghana Premier League, Ghana Division One and also abroad as Technical Director and Coach with the likes of Mighty Jets, Danbort, Inter Allies, Wa All Stars, Heart of Lions, Maranatha FC (Togo) where he worked imminently to discharge his duties with impressive stats.
The new Black Satellites technical team first task will be to qualify the team to the U-20 African Cup of Nations, where the team will go through a series of qualifier matches. And from there set their eyes on the big stage, being the U-20 World Cup which Ghana missed out on the recent edition. As the team looks to make amends, to make the tournament this time around.
