SHARKS UNVEIL SEVEN NEW PLAYERS, FOR 2018 FOOTBALL SEASON

The Fearsome Elmina Sharks Football Club is excited to announce the signing of seven new players with premiership experience for the 2017/2018 Football season.
The players include Ofoe Ofotsu, Emmanuel Essuman, Theophilus Adom and Benjamin Arthur. The rest are Richard Mpong, Sampson Eduku and Tanko Mohammed.
Ofoe Ofotsu and Benjamin Arthur join Elmina Sharks from Great Olympics; while Richard Mpong comes with vast premiership experience having played for Medeama, Asante Kotoko and very lately, Aduana Stars. Tanko Mohammed also joins from Aduana Stars.

Sampson Eduku helped Karela in their premiership pursuit last season. Our former player- Emmanuel Essuman is staging a come-back after successful playing stints with Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs and Samrebio based Samartex Football Club.

All necessary contractual agreements had been signed with the new players and “we believe with their quality, they will help us achieve our goal of either being in the TOP 4 or winning the 2017/2018 Ghana premier league”.

Meanwhile, the club has also extended the contracts of ten of our retained players. They are club captain, Daniel Obeng Crentsil, Samuel Arthur, Emmanuel Ampiah, Joseph Essam and Joshua Opoku. The rest are Isaac Quainoo, Isaac Mensah, Suraj Ibrahim and Eric Osei.
We have also extended for one year, the contract of Ebenezer Coleman, who is still recuperating from a surgery he underwent last year.  Management believes this will help the player psychologically in his recovery process.
