The loudmouth football administrator has berated the Dreams FC Executive Chairman over his ambition of becoming the Ghana FA boss next year
New Edubiase Football Club bankroller Salam Abdul Yakubu has gone berserk at MTN FA Cup Committee Chairman Kurt Okraku over his intention to vie for the Ghana FA presidential hot seat in 2019.
The tough-talking administrator feels the nation’s football governing body Executive Committee member lacks the requisite knowledge in steering the affairs of the game in the country.
The incumbent president Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, who is currently the CAF first vice-president, has stated that he would not seek re-election when his term of office ends next year.
Names of football administrators such as; Fred Pappoe, George Afriyie, Kurt Okraku, Herbert Mensah, Kudjoe Fianoo and Nana Yaw Amponsah have all been linked to the hot seat.
Notwithstanding, a very livid Salam Yakubu says, the Dreams FC kingpin should stop dreaming about the top job as he is not fit to occupy that position anytime soon.
“Kurt Okraku has not reached the level of becoming the president of Ghana Football Association,” Yakubu, who has demonstrated a high level of abhorrence towards the ambitious football administrator told Light FM
He added: “I am even ahead of him in succeeding Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi as the president so he should stop bragging on various radio stations and tv’s that it is his time to be the president,”
“How can he become the football president when some people around are far knowledgeable than him in terms of football issues,” he added.”
