The newly promoted Ghana premier side Dreams FC on their preparation towards the commencement of the Ghana Premier League faced off rejuvenated side from the Ghana Division One league Kotoku Royals FC at the Oda Stadium. The home team under new Head coach Nikola Dzoni, who has had a flying start since taking over the club in January.
Dreams FC going into this game had nothing to lose, as the home team was fired up to make a statement to its fans what they could expect from the team in the upcoming season.
A fully packed stadium went into roars as the home side took the lead, as Dreams FC did all they can to peg level but all was absorbed by the top-draw performance by the Kotoku Royals FC players who played their hearts out to maintain the scoreline as it is.
The friendly encounter ended in a keenly contested game as Kotoku Royals won by a goal to nil against Dreams FC. Both teams are fired up for their seasons respectively as they round-up their preseason. The league is reported to kick off next weekend at all centres of attraction.
