VRHL break extends

The Volta Regional Handball League goes on a two more weeks break after week 10 matches were postponed to March 3, 2018.

The league which was earlier absent on Saturday, February 24, paved way for the 44th Inter School Sports Festival of the Central Zone Association, which took place at the Ho Sports Stadium.

As the Sports Festival wraps up on Friday, March 2, the Handball league referees, who officiated Handball matches during the Festival, would need to rest in order to gain strength for upcoming league matches.

Consequently, the Ho Sports Stadium will be the same venue to host the Interzonal competition from March 8, through to March 15, 2018. In that regard, the league is now expected to fully bounce back on Saturday, March 17.

All clubs are to therefore note, comply accordingly and wait for fixtures for week 10 as there are several outstanding matches.

The maiden edition of the league which mainly has school clubs looks forward to seeing many community clubs next season, with the possibility of a zone system.
