French club Paris-Saint-Germain has reportedly contacted Chelsea coach Antonio Conte for the possibility of him replacing current coach Unai Emery at the end of the season.
Chelsea is not currently finding it rosy in their attempt to defend their Premier League title as they presently occupy the fifth position in the League standings.
Paris-Saint-Germain has just been sent out of the UEFA Champions League by Spanish club Real Madrid. Under Unai Emery, the Ligue 1 club have failed to progress to the quarter-finals on both occasions, and there are reports he will leave at the end of the season.
According to the report by Daily Star UK, PSG chiefs have contacted Antonio Conte for him to leave Stamford Bridge.
however, the President of the Italian Football Federation Carlo Tavecchio confirmed that Chelsea coach Antonio Conte is a top candidate for the national team. The Azurri are currently without a manager after Gian Piero Ventura was sacked following Italy’s failure to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Italian FA is now looking for a good replacement for Ventura so as for them to get back on track ahead of the 2020 European championships.
