News Update

VRHL resumes this weekend

After 3 weeks break, the Volta Regional Handball League resumes at the Ho Sports Stadium with 2 matches.

The league went on a break for the Central zone Sports festival and consequently for the Inter-Zonal Festival which ended on Wednesday, March 14 at the Ho Sports Stadium.

The executives have decided to have matches involving the Tertiary schools in order for the SHS players, who took part in the Sports Festival rest.

We will, therefore, have week 11 female match between EPUC and TERESCO at 1:30 pm on Saturday, March 17. It will be followed by EPUC versus HTU at 2:30 pm at the Ho Sports Stadium.
8 more outstanding matches, including week 10 of the first round of the league will then be played after the Easter Break. The table for matches played so far will also be released in due time.

The Volta Regional Handball Association is working so hard to ensure a successful maiden edition of the league.

Stars of Asha last beat HTU 35-30 in a week 6 outstanding match on Saturday, February 17, 2018.
