The talents nurturing gaffer was left disappointed over his side’s painful loss and says he can’t explain the defeat his outfit suffered to their opponent on matchday 7 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League in Dawu
Kumasi Asante Kotoko conceded a very silly goal against Dreams FC in yesterday’s clash at the Theatre of Dreams, says manager Paa Kwesi Fabin.
The 59-year-old tactician was left fuming at his charges for not adhering to his tactical instructions on the field of play – a situation that led to their slim 0-1 defeat to the Premier League returnees in the current top-flight campaign last Sunday.
A late strike from substitute George Dwubeng was enough to separate the crossed swords between both sides in the encounter at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
Nonetheless, the Porcupine Worries boss feels the late strike coupled with the loss of his charges were both silly.
“This was a match we should have won hands down, but I don’t know what happened, in the last minute we conceded a very silly goal and lost,’’ the former Black Starlets manager said at the post-match news conference.
He continued: ‘’We were probing for goals except that [Kotoko players] stopped doing what I asked them to do. I asked them to keep pushing and trying but it got a point they relaxed, I can’t explain that,’’
