The black maidens central defender Suzan Ama Duah who doubles as a goalkeeper was in scintillating form for Valued Girls FC as they trounced Ave Ladies by 8 goals to nothing as the defender cum goalkeeper stood behind the sticks with some mind-blowing saves.
Duah who is normally known as a defender on national assignment has excellent capabilities as she could also do good in goal when called upon. She was handed a starting role going into this crucial FA Cup encounter with Ave Shinning Ladies.
Duah who has been a remarkable performer for both club and country made some beautiful saves in the opening minutes of the game as the home team piled some pressure in attack, with the goalkeeper coming in handy to pick up the air balls with some excellent jumps.
Her precise goal kick which went straight into attack found Eunice Kpentey who dribbled through to score the third goal. With Valued Girls totally dominating the game putting 8 goals past the opponent, it was just left with Suzan Ama Duah to distribute the balls to her immediate teammate which gave her little or no work to do at all. Keeping a clean sheet for her side.
Valued Girls FC qualifies for the Round of 16 of the 2018 Sanford Women’s FA Cup, pending the draw on which team to face in the next stage.
