PHOTOS : Raja fans attacked in Dormaa

The north African fans were left helpless when the irate fans of the home side decided to go berserk against them following their side’s 3-3 stalemate in today’s (Wednesday) clash at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Stadium in Dormaa.

Raja Casablanca faithfuls had to run for their lives today as they were dispatched in the stands by the apoplectic hosts fans after they were subjected to severe brutalization.

It was a moment of agog in anticipation of a victory for the former  African champions fans when they saw their forward Mahmoud Benhalib scoring a brace with another goal from Mabidi Lima in the six-goal thriller encounter.

The  jubilant away fans flared firecrackers onto the pitch much  to the dismay of the homesters in the stands – a move that infuriated the Dormaa-based club’s vociferous fans to launched a vicious attack on them.

It took the intervention of the security men present at the match venue to rescue the under-siege fans of the Moroccans from the irate Aduana faithfuls as most of them were left perplexed with the kind of ordeal they went through after the pulsating drawn game.
