The 2018 Simunye Cup has entered its final stage of the competition with Ghana and Uganda facing off in the final game.
Head coach of the Ghana team Seidu Iddrissu has reiterated the fact that his team is in the final and will not leave any stone unturned as his men are going all geared up into the final. Iddrissu also commended his opponent finalist (Uganda) who put in a lot of work to get through to the final, speaking to Herosportsgh.com.
“It’s going to be a difficult and interesting final considering how they (Uganda) managed to reach the final, as committed and tactically disciplined.”- Iddrissu said
“I only watched one of their games which is the semi-finals against Mali, which has given me a fair idea of how they play and how I am going to approach the final game against them, as I believe on a good day for us our game plan will win us the ultimate which is our target.”- Iddrissu added
The Road to the 2018 Simunye Cup Final is underway up onto the Rand Stadium on 19th May 2018 with the ceremony starting at 09h00-17h00.
Same on the Simunye Cup, Prior to the Final Sports Gauteng Province Coordinator Mr Thabo has sent out a congratulatory message to both Simunye Cup 2018 finalist and wished them well with “May the best team win” tag,
Thabo again urged all footballing fans to troop to the Rand Stadium to join in the final celebration to support and cheer our heroes to victory as any team who wins the final, wins for us all.
