Former player Dreams F.C. and Blacks Stars player Abdul Baba Rahman have shared his injury situation after he suffered it playing for Black Stars which made him stay home for one and half years.
“It was really a tough moment for me during my injury situation as I watch my other colleagues played and watched them lying on the bed”, he said.
He added that when a player gets this type of injury, that person has to work hard to get his muscles back to get a stable knee as he was interviewed by Derrick Okraku on Dreams television.
“All along I had a problem with my leg extension and had to go for a second operation which helped me”, he stated.
He further stated that it was really good for him getting some few minutes in their last and that was what he was hoping for. He also disclosed that his family members, colleagues from Dreams F.C. and other people from Ghana were willing to see him return to the pitch of play.
In terms of whether there is urgency on him playing for Black Stars, Rahman said no because he needs to have more playing time at the club level before he thinks of the national pressure on himself.
