The Phobians playmaker has been traded to the Albanian capital-based club for an undisclosed fee
Hearts of Oak have transferred their attacking midfielder Winful Cobbinah to Albanian Superliga side KF Tirana.
The 26-year-old talented midfielder is believed to have signed a three-year deal with his new employers following his successful medicals.
A club statement from the Ghanaian powerhouse confirming the sale of their star man reads; “The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has successfully negotiated a transfer agreement for the talented midfielder Winful Cobbinah to join Albanian giants, KF Tirana,” the club announced in a statement Friday.
“The transfer is subject to the player passing a medical with his new club and properly registering via the Fifa TMS” the statement added.
The Black Stars B player was due to join Danish second-tier side Viborg FF earlier this year, but the deal hit a snag due to disagreement over his negotiations fee between both parties.
Additionally, his former club’s team-mate Vincent Atingah has also joined the Albanian side on a free agent deal for two years having declined to extend his deal with Hearts of Oak last term.
