The wantaway speedster is yet to commit his future for a fresh deal with the Phobians, but his link with their sworn-enemies continues unabated
Hearts of Oak winger Patrick Razak is keen on Asante Kotoko move having turned down new contract offers from his employers, says communications director Lawyer Sarfo Duku.
The 21- year-old has been tipped to cross carpet to the Kumasi-based side by the newly-appointed management of the Porcupine Warriors following his reluctance to commit to fresh deals with the Capital-based club.
Razak was slapped with a juicy offer from a Guinean outfit Horoya AC this term, but management failed to bless the deal for the diminutive flanksman leading to his unwillingness to extend his stay with them.
And now, according to Kotoko communications chief in a lucid interview, the winger is ready to swap his current employers for his outfit.
“Someone asked me he has heard that we[Asante Kotoko] want to sign Patrick Razak and l told the person that [he] rather wants to join us in an avid manner,” Sarfo Doku told Kumasi-based Kessben FM
He added: ” According to information, Patrick Razak said it somewhere that he wants to play for Kotoko thus the more reason he is reluctant to sign a new contract with Hearts of Oak.”
The pocket-size Wafu Cup winner will be in action for his side against their sworn-enemies as they look set to renew their rivalry in a double-header friendly matches tagged Clash of the titans at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium slated for August 26 and September 2 respectively in Kumasi.
