Diminutive scout William Adu appointed HoR of Cheetah FC

With speculations on where sought-after talent scout William Adu (Naglado) will be heading for a new challenge in the scout’s improving career, lower division side Cheetah FC has moved to bring him on board; joining the club on undisclosed terms.

The hardworking talent scout has been handed the Head of Recruitment (Chief Scout) role at the club which takes effect immediately, with an official announcement on the club’s website after a short presentation done by the club’s president Hay Yartey.

Naglado, in his new role will oversee in the recruiting of top potential players coming to hone their talents at the fast-rising third-tier club, who are the producers of many talented footballers with the likes of Christian Atsu (Newcastle United), former Ghana U17 players Mohammed Iddriss and Emmanuel Toku and many other players who are playing professional football abroad.

Naglado, has had previous stints at juvenile club’s Dansoman Barcelona (now Great Somas Soccer Academy), Christian Academy and a brief stint with sports management company Youthage Strategic Organization where he rediscovered his passion for the beautiful game he loved.

Cheetah FC is a third tier club in Ghana based at Kasoa and has youth categories where players come through the ranks until the first team. The club has been dubbed one of the fast-rising teams in Ghana with its beautiful attacking style on the field of play and nurturing potential youngsters into top professionals.
