Chelsea Boss, Maurizio Sarri says Eden Hazard will miss their Europa League game against BATE on Thursday at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard who has been in fine form for Chelsea after he captained the Belgium team to third place at the Russia 2018 World Cup will be unavailable because of a back problem.
The Blues currently tops Group L after winning their first two group games and will hope to extend their unbeaten streak in all competitions this season when they welcome the Belarusian side to London.
Sarri in a pre-match conference said he will make changes to the team that held Manchester United 2-2 at Stamford Bridge in their League game last weekend with Jorginho to be rested ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Turf Moor against Burnley this weekend.
The Italian noted that despite winning both games in the Europa League so far, neither match was easy. He adds BATE will be tough opponents as they are very strong away from home.
