The “Terminator” is set to join the Ivorian top-flight side from the two-time Ghanaian League champions
Aduana Stars are on the verge of cashing in on striker Yahaya Mohammed to Cote d’Ivoire elite division side Football Club San-Pedro, Herosportsgh.com understands.
The 30-year-old former Asante Kotoko forward is currently in the West African country to hold negotiations over his personal terms after which a deal could be struck between both parties.
Yahaya, who joined Aduana Stars on a two-year deal following his contract termination with Zambian side Azam FC last term, is believed to have courted the interest of the Ivorian side with his instinct in front of goals as they look forward to snapping up his services in the coming days.
Our highly grapevine source within the Dormaa-based side hinted us on the imminent departure of the dreadlocks forward from his outfit:
” A Premier League Division club in Cote d’Ivoire known as FC San-Pedro have weeks ago contacted us for the services of Yahaya Mohammed,” he disclosed to Herosportsgh.com
“We have had talks with [him] on their interest for his services and he is ready to go,”
” As we are speaking right now, we have given Yahaya the permission to travel to Cote d’Ivoire and finalize personal terms with them. We are ready to sell him to the club.’
San-Pedro is determined to reinvigorate their frontline options with the acquisition of the former Black Stars B striker as they are determined to storm this season’s Caf Confederation Cup competition.
The Stade Auguste Denise Stadium outfit is currently sitting 2nd in the Lig 1 standings with 24 points after thirteen game outings in the ongoing campaign.
