The high flying Ghanaian international youngster Stephen Nyankah, with his recent fine form for his club Emmanuel City FC, has got many clubs in Europe on the alert of his quality and ability on the ball. With scouts and agents trooping in to watch the ball wizard during matches and training sessions at the club base.
Stephen Nyankah, 16, who was part of the recent Ghana U17 national team who got eliminated in the U17 qualifiers by Nigeria came through the City junior team ranks and has gone on to make his presence felt playing for the senior team at a tender age going on to be the fans favourite with his skill and pace when he’s on the ball. With bookmakers tagging him One for the Future, the young chap has vowed to defy all odds to reach his target.
Speaking to herosportsgh.com, a Club rep from Emmanuel City confirmed they have received inquiries of interest for the enterprising winger, but there hasn’t been a decision made yet on the players future as at the moment. But the coming weeks could be decisive as they are looking out for a destination that would be of the best interest for the player to continue his development.
Stephen Nyankah’s parent club, Emmanuel City FC plays in the third tier of the Ghana league division and has been performing well in the competitions which they compete in, coming close to qualifying to the second tier two seasons ago. Emmanuel City has produced lots of quality players in recent times who have gone on to new challenges, a notable one is Richard Agbelegah Zumah who was being chased by Accra Hearts of Oak after impressing on trial at the club but later moved to Iraq for greener pastures with Karbala SC.
