Ghana’s Black Stars coach, James Kwesi Appiah, last Saturday at the press conference after the AFCON qualifier against Kenya, said that he is ready to fix the faulty defence line of the team.
When posed with the question of the confidence of the defense, he admitted that what was displayed on Saturday was not the best and that he was going to make some tough changes.
Kwesi Appiah said, ” I have different thoughts about the defence after today’s game. We are going to take some tough decisions to go on with the team going into the African Cup” .
The defence of the Black Stars was composed of John Boye and Kassim Nuhu. Nicholas Opoku and Lumour Agbenyenu complete the pack for the defence on the day.
It was clear that the defenders struggled to get things right and only survived by the lack of urgency from the Kenyans.
